These are pictures of a regular green, Garbage truck in Mumbai. But this one’different.

If you have looked carefully, this truck is carrying the garbage bin on its butt. The bin is dangling behind with just2 slim metal arms holding it to the truck.

I noticed this truck while returning from college a few weeks back at the Uncle’s Kitchen Junction. The truck is endangering the lives of the mororists and other people on the road. One small bump in the road and the bin will come crashing down.

So here’s fifty paise to the truck driver. Get a tempo and carry the bin in it.

This is Mr. Kirit Somaiyya, a BJP leader who recently went on an indefinite hunger strike to protest against the 5-hour power cuts in Mulund and neighbouring areas.

He had to be forcibily taken to the hospital, by the cops. He was on a fast since 8th March.

In his long list of demands, throughout the fast,  were things like ‘MSEDCL should take steps to control 50 per cent power theft’ and ‘MSEDCL should take action against the power mafias and power thieves’.

However, he forgot that his party had illegally taken power-supply from a neighbouring shop.
